BOA is a state-funded 14-19 academy specialising in Creative, Digital and Performing Arts.
BOA is committed to providing high quality and distinctive education through a specialist curriculum delivered in outstanding facilities.
Exam results at BOA have been consistently excellent and have improved every year.
This summer at Key Stage 4, our students achieved on average a D* (Distinction Star) grade in their pathway, which is equivalent to an 8.5 (A*) at GCSE. 99% achieved a Standard Pass (4/C) or better in English, 93% achieved a Standard Pass or better in maths, and 92% left with at least 5 standard GCSE passes including English and Maths!
At Post-16 this year, the average grade on our pathways was D*D*D* (Triple Distinction Star), and the average UCAS points scored across all post-16 qualifications was 177, equivalent to A*A*A* at A-Level.
Another brilliant year at BOA.
